Of Headshots and Blogging
It's 7:30 on a Friday night, and I'm sitting at my desk scrolling through my album of headshots (trying to pick the very best out of a great selection from miracle worker Hannah O'Neal) and trying to figure out how to blog (I'm really not that old, but this phenomenon has escaped me).
I mean, really, this shouldn't be so hard, right? I've spent the last year and half writing for my M.A., and way too many years writing just because. Words should just flow. Ehhh, no.
Also, for the record, I'm a total camera hog. If someone has a camera anywhere near me, I can sense it, and I'm right there. But schedule an appointment to get nice, non-weird pictures taken? My face forgets how to act. So thanks, Hannah, for fixing my face and making it look nice. Headshots are hard, guys, but it's rare that you'll find a photographer who will fall off of couch taking pictures for you while her toddler sleeps in the next room.
Back to blogging (can you tell my mind's a mess today?)...I make no promises. I'll try. I'll probably fail majorly at doing this in a timely fashion, but there will be some posts on some days...I just don't know which days.
Cheers, y'all. Happy weekend.
